In a dystopian Philadelphia divided between progressives who oppose animal testing, as well as alt-right conservatives who advocate capital punishment, Dr. Viridian uses a loophole to test her formula that cures muscular dystrophy on death row inmates, which exposes political corruption and fatal consequences.
